1) Confirmation of Contractual Agreement
By agreeing contractual terms either on the telephone, email or by website the client will be required to return a purchase order and will hence-forth be bound by the terms and conditions of Causeway Cleaning Ltd.
All given quotes are valid for 30 days. After this term company reserves the right to change given quote.
2) Payment Terms
Payments will be required by cash, cheque, standing order, credit/debit card, BACS transfer on completion of the cleaning work, unless otherwise stated in an agreed contractual credit agreement with Causeway Cleaning Ltd. If we do not receive payment within the 7 days of invoice date , we willl pass your details to our collections team. This action will result in an additional admin charge of £50.00 or 10% of invoice value whatever is greater.
Access to property and information of a confidential nature will be given to Causeway Cleaning Ltd where necessary to allow cleaners access to work. Keys and alarm or such confidential or security information will be retained and used by the management and supervisor of Causeway Cleaning Ltd only. In the event of misplaced or broken keys or locks Causeway Cleaning Ltd will reimburse all costs of changing locks on receipt of invoices.
The Client will be subject to full or partial payment, at the discretion of Causeway Cleaning Ltd, if cleaning work is cancelled within 24 hours of the commencement time. All rights are reserved by Causeway Cleaning Ltd. Causeway Cleaning Ltd will allow two weeks cancellations advance notice for regular cleaning services and more than one weeks notice for one-off cleaning contracts, where possible.
5) Complaints and Claims
In the case of a complaint or claim Causeway Cleaning Ltd requires 24 hours notification of any complaints or breakages from the completion of the work. No Claims will be considered beyond this time-frame. Photographic evidence of the breakage must be provided from the time of any breakage and the Causeway Cleaning Ltd supervisor or manager must be contacted WHILE the cleaning staff are on-site.
If the Client is dissatisfied with the quality of the work, the manager or supervisor must be notified within 24 hours so that the cleaner can be allowed to return and rectify the issue at no extra charge. No discounts will be applicable if the complaint is not logged with Causeway Cleaning Ltd management within a 24 hour period.
Causeway Cleaning Ltd enforce quality control and inspect all work on completion where possible. All cleaners will be briefed on the cleaning specification as laid out in the contractual agreement.
6) Deep Cleans and One Off Cleans
The following will not be included in Deep Cleans or One off Cleans.
- The cleaning of internal or external walls
- The cleaning of ceilings or roof-tops
- The cleaning of drains or drain-pipes or guttering
- The cleaning of carpets or other soft furnishing unless specialist cleaning package is purchased
- The Cleaning of yards, patios or other outdoor surfaces unless specialist cleaning package is purchased
The Client must allow the cleaner access to cleaning products if kept on-site and hot water and electricity for appliance use. The Client must not remove or move any health or safety signage such as ‘Wet Floor’ or ‘Caution’ signs that have been placed or positioned by the cleaner. To do so will result in Causeway Cleaning Ltd declaring no liability and as such the Client will not be protected under Causeway Cleaning Ltd public and individual liability insurance.
Causeway Cleaning Ltd is fully insured by public and employers liability
9) Changes to legal notices
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and you should look through them as often as possible.
11). PRIVACY STATEMENT
Causeway Cleaning Ltd are committed to protecting the privacy of anyone using our site and the confidentiality of any information that you provide us with. The purpose of this statement is to set out how we use any personal information that we may obtain from you. Data Protection Act 1988
We comply with the Act in all our dealings with your personal data.
Use and collection of personal information
In general you can visit our website without telling us who you are and without revealing any information about yourself. If, however, you use our site you will be asked to provide certain information such as your contact details. We will store this data and hold it on computer or otherwise.
We may use information that you provide:
(a) To register you with our website and to administer it.
(b) For assessment and analysis e.g. marketing, customer and product analysis, to enable us to review, develop and improve our services.
